Steph4952 its cold
you are my idol! id love to get that kind of experience..
How I did it: I sat in the club watching the other girls and if I saw someone do something I thought looked nice, I tried it out the next time I went on stage.
In my opinion, this is not something you should pay someone to learn. You should get paid while you are learning how to do this.
Lessons & tips: The biggest lesson I came away with from this experience is that there is someone for everyone. Even if you don't think you're pretty enough or thin enough, there is some guy out there that thinks you are gorgeous and irresistible.
The first time you go onstage will be awkward, frightening, embarrassing. Just keep moving. The more you do it, the more comfortable you will become. Working as a dancer in this medium will be the most intense workout you'll ever do and it will also be the best way to learn how to truly "sell yourself". Your muscles will become lean and toned and dancing all night in those shoes isn't really that bad but will teach you a lot about balance.
Wipe down the pole at the beginning each time you go onstage. Be nice to the DJ.
Resources: My friends Brooke and Brandy who suggested I should try it out.
