How I did it: Play games, be on the internet. Make sure that your points in an argument are valid, and that your aim on the battlefield is true. Try to do your very best no matter what you are doing. This is how one pwns. It matters not what game you may be playing, even if it's the game of real life.
Lessons & tips: If you are having trouble pwning, take the time to research what exactly you are having trouble with and practice, practice, practice.
