How I did it: Wel, I was late, so I did it twice--once when I added the goal, and then once when I realized I missed the acutal day, so..the guilt has GOT to be worth, like 17 birthday cakes, I'm guessing.

Lessons & tips: First of all, don't get wrapped up in your own life, and miss a dear friend's birthday.  Next, mark your calendar, so you make sure you remember to let them know you love them and wish them well.  Then, when you miss it, make sure you call yourself a dumbass a LOT, like I'm doing.

Resources: Well, having a situation I'm dealing with helped me turn my back on 43 for a while, and get immersed in my own self-pity.  That's no excuse, but it helped me forget to do this in a timely fashion.
