How to go to a hookah bar
How I did it: My friends and I are all 18, so we went to a place called House of Hookah in Chicago. It's a small cafe with Arabic pop music playing, pillows on the floor, and mostly indie college kids. We tried two flavors, Strawberry Daquiri and Sex on the Peach. I had never smoked hookah before then, and it was pretty relaxing. Hookah doesn't get you high, it just gives you a little buzz, so it was nice that we didn't have to worry about driving home afterward. Overall, a cool experience
Lessons & tips: 1. If you're under 18, there are LOTS of places that don't card
2. Ask the people who work at the hookah bar what flavors they recommend so you don't pick something gross
3. It can be kind of expensive, so go with a lot of friends
