How to go to an opera

exhilarated

How I did it: I had originally blown a bunch of money on tickets to see the Dallas Opera - but my son got the flu and I couldn't go :( I found out that some movie theatres broadcast live from the Metropolitan if you go to www.fathomevents.com - for only $22 I was able to hang out in jeans and a tshirt at my local movie theatre and watch Madame Butterfly - it was totally incredible!
Lessons & tips: If you are interested in opera, this is the way to check it out! I am absolutely hooked, and only had to spend $22. Also, many people in the audience told me they prefer going to these because you can see everything that happens up close.
