How to take better care of my teeth
How I did it: I had to address my wisdom teeth and my severely broken front teeth, so I took a job that provided dental insurance, and I faced my fears and went to the dentist. The first real step was getting my wisdom teeth out, so I opted to be put under for the procedure and did what I had to do. I had the misfortune of a little bleeding into the tissue in my jaw, brought on my taking "nsaids" but a little vicodin cleared that up... I just wish someone had told me that the muscles near the extraction can enflame, causing SEVERE pain, blinding migraines, dizziness, etc. I should have been back on the nsaids avfter just a few days, but no one figured out what was up, and just gave me more vicodin. Naproxen was a God send when I finally figured it out. No trouble since (except maybe food stuck in the extraction sites, but it always comes out.)
Next i had to fix the front teeth, and I had to go alone and be awake, because it was essentially a fncy filling. I didn't hurt, I swear on my life, but I cried anyway. Shear terror. I've got this issue with dentistry
