How to plan a vaction for spring break 2008 with only my friends

How I did it: planned it like any other vacation... we found a great travel agent who got us great deals. it was riu bachata resort in the dominican republic, which was a small resort with a small local beach, club, bars, all kinds of things. because everything was within walking distance, we didn't even have to book hotel rooms right next to each other.
