How to get a tragus piercing
How I did it: My piercer (at Living Arts Tattoo in New Hope, PA) was a very nice young man named Jesse, who calmly explained the process as he prepared the sterile equipment. I was sitting cross legged in a tattoo table in a private room, and when he was about to perform the piercing I began to do ujaya breaths like in yoga. (In this
breath, the throat is constricted so that the breathing rate can be
regulated. This constriction results in a hissing sound being emitted
from the throat, sounds like Darth Vader) When Jesse told me that the painful part was about to happen, I opened my eyes, still with my ujaya breaths. Then it was over. Didn't hurt a bit, Pictures to come.
Lessons & tips: Remember to breathe.
