How I did it: It was a series of wrong-turns that lead me in a huge circle, but back to the people that I knew loved me, and wanted nothing but the very best for me. I slowed down and started to see and appreciate my close friends and family, and that even if they make me mad, they're the ones that will always be there for me, no matter what.

Good thing you learned this sooner than later. The people who make you mad and tell you what you don’t want to hear are the ones who have your best interest at heart. It is hard to understand sometimes, but it sounds like you are figuring it out. Good Job!!!

I’m a high school teacher, I have a teenage son, and once upon a time, I was a teen. I understand what you are talking about. Keep it up. Stay strong. Learn to just say NO to stupid stuff you know you shouldn’t be doing.
