How I did it: I asked for a waffle iron for my birthday.  I never owned one and I did it just for this opportunity.  Arie gave me one and I made a plan to make this dish.  Several months later, finally, I was able to find time and get it out and make waffles.  To accomodate the waffles we made cap'n crunch and corn flake coated chicken.  We served a hot pepper raspberry jam as a complimentary sauce.  Everything was so good.  It was great, because, we had a group of friends over so we were able to share to share it with Eric, Angie, Andi, Ray, Rick, and Rachel as well.
