How to get A Life by Marisa

"Getting a life was not as complicated as I thought it would be!"

How I did it: I was never someone who had difficulty making friends, and I wanted to get more involved instead of just sitting around on the computer.
I grew closer with my friends and started making plans to go out and do things, like bowl and see movies. I got involved with the spring musical, one act plays, and other extracurriculars that I knew I would enjoy.

Lessons & tips: It might seem like it's done through some logical procedure, but it's not.

You have to really be willing to throw aside the computer/video games and books to get involved.

Hey, thanks for your tips on “getting a life” they might sound pretty generic (what ever that means) to most people but what you’ve said is somehow uplifting and gave me some motivation. Not to mention the good advice: “You have to really be willing to throw aside the computer/video games” Linux and video games have really eaten away my time, and the Internet to. “Putting them aside” makes it seem just a little less harder then it really is.
