How to get certified in First Aid/CPR

How I did it: My freshman year in high school (about 5-6 years ago) we all were required to learn first aid and CPR in our health class. That took about a week.
When I was working in a retirement home (before I went off to work in a veterinary hospital), we were required to either become certified for the first time or renew our certification. It was a one-day course and was a lot of fun!
