How to see a monkey in the wild

How I did it: I was volunteering with a homeless ministry just outside of Durban, South Africa. Monkeys would sit and watch us work outside. They also figured out how to open the window of the store room and then open the door to the fridge. We walked out as they were passing things from the fridge to the rest of the monkeys outside the window. When we scared them off, they sat in the trees and threw food at us. Our South African friends who worked there full time started picking up the food and throwing it back at them to scare them farther away. A pretty crazy scene.
