How to learn PHP
It made me 
"I've gotten a good enough grasp of PHP now to move onto the next step of doing something really impressive with it!"
How I did it: I learned the basics from different places online, but learning Java in college helped as there are similarities between the two. Then I started looking at the code of different open source PHP applications, and learned a lot from that.
