How I did it: Well, as far as applications were concerned it was jsut a matter of filling them out and one essay for a scholarship.  I just had to get my ass in gear.  The resume took a little more work.  I met witha  career advisor at my shool.

Lessons & tips: Changing my resume made me feel more professional about what I am doing.         

Resources: The career advisor offered me some greast tips for turning my minimum wage experience and school experience into a professional-like resume.  But, she didn't provide me with a great deal of example on how to find a job relative to my studies.  I think I should have approached a prof in my department for advice like that, but I got wrapped up in other things.
