How to start doing my morning pages again
"I do them religiously now. It's my morning meditation."
How I did it: I made a commitment to do The Artist's Way in full, with a friend. We support each other kindly. I also bought myself a new funky notebook & some nice pens. I wake up 30 mins earlier than when I need to and find a nice spot to write in.
Lessons & tips: Don't overthink the morning pages. You cannot do them wrong. Get into the routine - waking up, grabbing a juice or coffee from your kitchen, then settle into a nice spot & write write write. avoid distractions. stay in the zone - they only take 20-30 minutes of scratchy writing & you'll feel soooo much more ready to approach your day.
