How I did it: Asked my mum if i could learn an instrument, she said yes so i decided i'd like to play the piano. She called a tutor and i went to lessons every Wednesday after Primary School, then my teacher said she was moving to London, so i got a new teacher, after 2 years with that teacher, i'd got nowhere and wasn't doing very well so i got another teacher who put me in for theory and practical exams and now i can play pretty much everything. It took about 2-3 years :)

Lessons & tips: Practise and study hard, the key is to play every day for at least half an hour in order to improve.

Resources: A good tutor, Piano Time 1 workbook, a good piano, a metronome to keep in time with.
