How to get CPR certified
How I did it: I took the cpr one evening, last week at the local hospital. Now the certifiction is good for 2 years. I am certified for infant, child and adult CPR. I am glad to have this certifaction, because I work in the child care field.
Lessons & tips: When taking the course take your time, completing each task. If you don't understand how to do something don't hesitate to ask your instructor, or even your neighbor. It's better to ask while there, then wait til after the fact, for you may forget your question at the end or the instrucctor may be busy then. It's better to have all questions answered thern not be sure, when the emergency arises.
Resources: I decided this goal when reading the 43things book. They had a excerpt on CPR classes through the local American Red Cross.I googled the American Red Cross. There weren't any too local to me, so then I googled CPR classes in my county. Hence how I found out about the one I took.
