How to weigh 110 pounds
How I did it: I have a very small frame, therefore if I gain weight, it is obvious and often unflattering. The most I have ever weighted is 119, and although this is a perfectly acceptable weight for people of my height, I did not feel healthy. I began by creating an exercise plan for myself that included cardio every day (beginning with simply walking and gradually going up to running, tae bo, the elliptical, and bike riding) and strength training three days a week. I would go the gym as often as I could and when I could not, I would exericse at home. I also tried to limit my sugar intake, since that is what I crave, and keep my caloric intake to between 1200-1550 calories a day. I eat many small meals a day anyway, because I have very low blood pressue, so I was able to learn how to eat correct portion sizes and choose healthier options while still eating things that I love.
Lessons & tips: -create your own fitness plan
-make healthy food choices (make sure the portion sizes are correct, allow yourself to eat the things you love in moderation, figure out how many calories a day you should be eating)
-track your eating habits! (you will figure out when you are most hungry, what foods you should eat less of, and what really fills you up)
-don't beat yourself up over a bad day
