How I did it: I've come to find that lists really are the way to go...
For every generalized list, make several other lists that break down the bigger goals in the first.
It's definitely gratifying having the ability to cross things off. *nods*
Lessons & tips: Don't expect the lists to just disappear. There will always be something to do.
Resources: Family and friends. They are there for a reason.
If you're independent like I am, I was scared to ask for help... But my family stepped in and told me that they were actually upset because I didn't feel comfortable asking for help. :o)

so I understand what you mean about being afraid to ask for help. I felt ashamed for being needy even though I don’t mind helping others.Then a good friend explained to me that it makes the people who care about me feel good to help. No person is an island. Getting stuff done is alway easier with the help our friends and families.
