How to read a book once a month

How I did it: since 2002 i've been recording all of the books that i've read, even including the ones that i've reread again.
during the time that i was in school, i sometimes found this hard to do as i had so many different texts to read. but most of the time, i was still able to read a book per month.
during the summer, i read about 4 books per month usually.
Lessons & tips: books are amazing things...not all are worth while reading, though.
i found autobiographies very interesting. at the same time, i found that i was particularly interested in post apocalyptic stuff and fantasy.
