How to have my name on a high score table
How I did it: I taught myself to touch type 5 or so years ago because I thought it looked like a useful thing to be able to do. I practiced a lot because it turned out that I found it quite fun and wanted to get faster at it. After a while I stopped practising, by which time I usually had a speed of at least 100WPM. After this I still typed a lot as I spent a lot of time on MSN, on the internet or writing essays, and still do now.
I found a typing speed application on Facebook and it has a high score table, which when I looked at, I thought that I would be able to get my name on it. The score board takes into account the speed and the accuracy, so it took me a few attempts to get a score which was good enough. My fastest score, which was 127WPM, wasn't accurate enough so didn't get on the board, but I after that I managed to get a score of 123.7WPM with 100% accuracy which was enough to get me onto the scoreboard.
