How I did it: Well, in January I was an extra in an independent film, which was a lot of fun and a chance to work and meet others in the film industry. In February I attended a workshop to become a production assistant, opening my eyes even further to the work involved in making films. And in March, I won a contest which gave me a whole bunch of real Oscar memorablia from people in California who actually have worked there. That was really cool! I'd say stay focused on your goals, whatever they may be. And be open to oppurtunities to celebrate life in joyous ways.
