How to get a second job
How I did it: I was impressed with the products, which are all natural and have zero side effects. I was pregnant at the time with my 4th child, and after seeing results with some nutritionals and filtered and restructured water, I looked at the business side of things. I contacted the rep who sold me the products and she helped me get started. If someone is basically sociable and outgoing, really likes helping people find solutions for challenges in their life, and likes to set their own hours and be their own boss, I highly recommend looking at a home-based business in direct selling or network/multilevel marketing. Plus, there are a ton of tax advantages to this type of business.
Lessons & tips: This business is not about selling, it is about listening to people and pointing them in a direction towards health. There is no pressure here, just good listening skills.
Resources: My sponsors in the business have been invaluable as mentors. Read every book you can find on network marketing. Look at a specific business and evaluate the track record of the company, the compensation plan, the support available to you. I lucked into an amazing company, but not everyone is so lucky.
