How to volunteer regularly

How I did it: signed up for a service learning program at my school that required 50 hours of service per year.. ended up finding an organization that i loved (campus kitchen) and i have stayed with it even after my program ended--i'm now a shift leader and volunteer at least once a week. now that i have this routine down i want to add on another site!!
Lessons & tips: local colleges might have resources, search on google for not-for-profit organizations, and just ask around!
