How to quit caffeine
How I did it: I needed to get the caffeine out of my system before I did the Master Cleanse, so I stopped drinking coffee (my only source of caffeine) on 3/18. I drank a lot of water and took lots of naps! It took four days before I felt good again.
Lessons & tips: I feel much better now that I don't have the caffeine coursing through me. The difficulty is the social and psychological aspects. For me, drinking a cup of coffee at work was such a nice way to relax - I've just stocked up on plenty of different caffeine-free teas now.
Stay away from any foods that you usually eat when you're consuming caffeine! For me, it was doughnuts and baked goods.
