How to give up caffeine
"i'm so glad i quit caffeine, i feel much more awake and without having to depend on a quick fix."
How I did it: i was bed ridden from an accident, and i decided that this was as good a time as any--and just started drinking caffeine free pop. since i was feeling terrible and sleeping all the time anyway, caffeine was the last thing on my mind.
Lessons & tips: do it when you're already sick and home in bed, that way if you need to sleep--you just sleep. after a week or so, i still felt tempted, but after the initial month, it was cake. if you're feeling bad from something else, you don't care about the lack of caffeine as much. something to think about the next time you get a few days off from work with the cold.
