How to floss daily

OMG

I just recently started doing this too! As horrible as it sounds, I have just never been able to REMEMBER to do it. Just went to the dentist a few weeks ago, told him how I hated flossing. Well, I never ever ever have cavities (I had one 4 years ago at age 29.. and that has been my only one). So i wanted to reason with him and say, why SHOULD I floss, I don’t get cavities! So he reasoned back and said, your beautiful cavity free teeth are just going to fall out of your mouth if you dont! That was motivation enough. The one thing that has helped me be really good about it is I now use those Reach floss thingies, that look like a toothbrush handle and you just put your little floss piece at the end. My teeth are tight (not over crowded, but tight enough that the floss would snap onto my gums really hard with traditional floss), and now I can easily slide the floss between my teeth, and its not such a pain in the jaw to get all the way to the molars. My teeth will now not only not have cavities, but never ever fall out! (lets hope!)

HUGE COINCIDENCE: I had my first cavity at age 29 four years ago TOO. :) I couldn’t even believe it! I got sealants on the back teeth, so hopefully that’ll spare me any future developments, but I’ve been wondering about those Reach floss thingies! I will try them on your recommendation—the other night, the floss got STUCK between my back teeth and I seriously couldn’t get it out. I kept pulling and pulling and I really thought I was going to yank one of my teeth out by accident. It was kind of mildly terrifying. :)

I try to do all the time

I usually do it about 3 x a week.
