How to identify 100 things that make me happy (besides money)
"Something to compare against your perceived set of values."
How I did it: I sat down and started to write.
I soon discovered the (besided money) part to be essentially meaningless - for example, I enjoy good food, which is something you need to pay for, even if you do cook it from the ingredients. In that sense, the topic quickly became "How to identify 100 things that make me happy (on a reasonable budget)", so no luxury yachts or caviar here. :)
This exercise did not make me especially thankful. Instead, I suppose that I can use the list to analyze and to see if I'm really in line with my core values.
Lessons & tips: Don't start nitpicking too much. If in doubt if you should have ie. "comics" as one item, or "comic books from local library" and "webcomics" as two items, have two items.
