How to get a tattoo

How I did it: Spent many many years trying to decide what design I wanted, where to have it done.
When I'd finally got my design right and found a good tattooist, I booked in and got it done.
Lessons & tips: Make sure beforehand that you're not allergic to anything they are using. Even the aftercare cream.
Pick a design that is your own, you don't want a design that a million other people have.
Don't get it done just for the sake of it - you'll be stuck with it for the rest of your life!
Resources: Read up on the internet about tattooing and aftercare. Make sure you ask LOTS of questions before/during/after you get it done.
