How I did it: A group of us drove through Germany during the winter. The snow-covered forests looked like a scene from a postcard. What you hear is not true...there are speed limits on the autobahn, generally 120kph. And there are cameras to capture your license if you don't pay attention to the signs. Most everyone seems to stay close to 120k, even in the limitless sections. Most of the cars stay in the far right lane unless they are passing, and then they move back to the far lane. It's a very interesting experience.
