How to stop smoking

Comments:

Congratulations

Giving up is so hard. Did you have any bad withdrawal symptoms?

I have to say that I find it hard to define myself as a non-smoker even after several years so it’s great that you are doing so already.

Thanks!

Thanks for the cheer!
I thought I had bad withdrawal symptoms because I caught a really bad cold just after quitting. Now, I’m still coughing but it’s been more than 4 weeks so that couldn’t be right.
I did dream I was smoking once, does that count? lol.

Before I read Allen Carr’s book it really felt like there’s a battle everyday for me to not light up a cigarette and smoke it. I wasn’t even sure how long I will last until I smoke again. In fact, while reading the book it really made me question if I was really quitting for good.

That book really changed my perspective on cigarettes and once I finished that book I really felt like a non-smoker and I felt in my heart that I am never smoking another cigarette ever again.

You should read this book if you haven’t done so. It might help you!
Cheers for stopping smoking!

Smoking Dreams

I still get these regularly and I gave up five years ago. It’s weird because in the dreams it still feels normal and the next day I have to think about whether I actually did smoke or not.

Allen Carr has been recommended to me by loads of people. I agree it may be a good idea to read it to change my mind set (and get rid of the dreams).

ckloie0 has gotten 2 cheers on this entry.
