How I did it: I found a topic I was passionate about.  I wrote whatever came to my mind.  When you write, you do not criticize it, or judge it in any way.  You just write and write and write.  Then you go back over what you have written and start to reshape it, clean it up, rearrange until it starts to make sense.

I did a lot of research on the topic of happiness, which helped to formulate what I wrote about.

I am not a natural writer, so it was sometimes a painful experience, but I am thrilled with the end product.
