How to learn Auslan
How I did it: Obviously I am not 'finished' but with a task like this I think that taking the first step is more important. I have wanted to learn ausland for years and years and years, since I was in high school, and I have never had a good enough reason. Especially as the two years required to do a diploma is a big time commitment. So recently I started doing a short course at cae, and it's awesome. I am seriously considering doing the diploma because i love it. i still see no practical use for it because i don't think i want to be a full time interpreter, but i'll think of something.
Lessons & tips: list of short cources in your state around around. google is you friend, as probably are the deaf organisations in your state.
Resources: if you want to know ask me and i'll link you - don't want to search around right now, one on one contact is much better anyway :)
