How I did it: I got to go on a band trip. We sent in a tape of our wind ensemble playing our last year's UIL music, and we were asked to play in Carnegie Hall. It was such a great honor. I loved New York. It was so glamorous and fast-paced, and I felt like my head was swimming constantly. Times Square at night is unlike anything I've ever seen. I want to live there when I'm older.
