How to learn to juggle
How I did it: I started out with several balls of socks, which I found to be far too lopsided to be of use. So I graduated to a beginner set of Klutz balls. I practiced every day, but I was frankly horrible and didn't know what I was doing.
Then I bought a book that showed the actual mechanics of the operation; suddenly it all made sense. After a few days of practicing the basic 3-ball cascade, I had it down pat.
Later I figured out how to juggle for at a time through experimentation.
Lessons & tips: Don't think about it too much once you know what you're doing. Work to get the feeling right. Also, make sure you work on throwing the balls straight in the air. The worst problem I've ever had was not being able to through the balls straight up.
