How to wake up earlier
"I wanted to wake up earlier when the real problem was I had to sleep earlier"
How I did it: It's like wanting to go somewhere but then you don't even give your little butt a push.
I approached it all wrong. No matter what methods I use to get up early, it just won't work. I was sleeping very late at night. It wasn't night even, I sleep early in the morning!
I'm still trying to work on my sleeping habits. That's the one major thing that would have a big impact on this. I can't expect to get up during those beautful hours when I haven't gotten enough sleep.
Naturally, our body would have to cope with all the lost hours of sleep.
Lately, I've been getting up at 8:30am almost everytime and not right before lunchtime!
It's weird that I get up earlier than when I had to report to work.
It's all about knowing where to attack :)
Lessons & tips: Try to set a time in the morning when you want to get up. Take your alarm and get up on the same time everyday. Never mind the time you get to bed. BUT make sure that you go to sleep when you're tired.
If you slept real late the night before and got up on your designated time, your body will want to sign off earlier.
Keep that time and you'll find yourself getting up consistently even without an alarm!
