How to take a cooking class
How I did it: I took a cooking class in Puebla, Mexico with my boyfriend over spring break. We found the trip on luxurylink.com (under the food and wine trips). It was a lot of fun, and we got a great deal for how nice our stay was. The other couples cancelled, so we had private lessons! Turns out our chef was one of the most acclaimed chefs in Mexico. The lessons were 3 hours each, consisting of an appetizer, the meal, and a dessert. The first thing when we came home was make guacamole :-)
As soon as I'm no longer living in college dorms, I'll be putting the recipies to use!
Lessons & tips: Combining a travel with cooking is always a fun way to expand your gastronomic repertoire
