How I did it: Ended up working with 2 architects to complete the final draft. Everyting is connected to everything in a house and for it to become a home it also connects to the people living in it.

Lessons & tips: Start with what you have experienced and seen that you like and know that works. Defining needs (now and in years to come) is also vital       

Resources: Architects, books on organic building, looking at old and new houses, shapes and materials. Internet searches on everything from terminology to types og stones.
