That must have been terrifying!
How I did it: I met up with a severe thunderstorm and was changing lanes while slowing down more. I did two 360 spins, went backward while facing on-coming traffic, swerved multiple times and ended up on the grassy ouside of the interstate.
Lessons & tips: Just don't do this, it's not worth it...not that I was setting out to do this in the first place.

Near Snoqualmie Pass one winter, I did a 270 spin, across the median and then across the opposing lanes of traffic, landing in a snowbank. Fortunately, while I crushed the bumper, the car was otherwise OK; I was not hit by any other vehicle, thank god.
Now, many years later, they have separated the lanes of the interstate, where the uphill lanes are on one side of the valley, and the downhill are on the other, and such an accident would be impossible.
