How to listen to new music

How I did it: Pretty much I would google different music lists (ex. indie love songs.) and such and then find bands that seemed cool. A majority of the time I actually liked them.
Playlist.com is really sweet and is a cool way to get new music you like without downloading or buying cds and its completely free. The best part is you can post them on your profiles.
Lessons & tips: Don't be afraid to try something new. Even if you said you hated it before. You can change your mind easily depending on what kind of mood you're in.
Try listening to online radio stations.
