How I did it: I use to go to church a lot and still do believe sex before marriage is a sin. But even so, Im happy with how it happened.
One of my friends Eric and I had been getting closer and closer since we first met. Bestfriends? yea basically. He knew I had feelings for him and he kind of was on gaurd about girls because hes always been hurt.
After about a few months of knowing eachother we ended up having our first kiss. It was amazing, neither of us expected it but very much liked it.
A few months later we started to fool around a little. Only now and then. But in the meantime we'd go out on dates every weekend.
I never spent a friday or saturday alone for three months. He took me to do the funnest things. 4 wheeling at his house, off roading at his friends house way late at night. We house sit his family friends farm..well he did, I just came alone.
February 18th he was house sitting again, for two weeks. I went over, along with two of our friends. That night we were in the room we always sleep in and started fooling around..he stopped and asked if I was waiting for marriage. Kind of straight forward but I just said I really dont think so.. So we layed there for awhile and talked about it. I came to the conclusion. I loved him, a bestfried kind of love but if I were to ever have sex before marriage, thats the kind of person Id want it with. Someone I wouldnt regret, and someone that wouldnt leave me right after. 
I agreed to having sex that night..he didnt pressure me at all, even asked a few times if i was positive. 
He was nothing but a gentlemen to me and made sure I was ok the whole time....it was wonderful. 
The next day made it even better. The farm we were staying at had a huge field that led out to a creek. So after our friends left. He took me out there. Just holding hands and goofing off. He brought his camera and took pictures and what not. Played with the dogs and just had an amazing day.
Our friendship is stronger than ever. Its like we can understand eachother more. Id never take that night back for the world. I dont know whats in the future for us, relationship? maybe But even if not, Im just happy he'll always be here.

Lessons & tips: Having sex for the first time is something you can never take back. Make sure its with someone you care and can trust. And if you have ANY split second thoughts..dont go through with it. Sex is always there..you dont want to regret or be hurt in the future.
