How to go on a real vacation, no cleaning, no cooking, lots of lazy, lots of running around silly days, and no kids (sorry kids, i love you!).
How I did it: this goal took, basically, being with the right person at the right time. we wanted a sexy, romantic, fast-paced vacation, so we gathered the finanical resources and went for it. My mother was able to take the kiddos so they were well taken care of and having a mini-vacation with her.
Lessons & tips: mandalay bay, not so much!
the whole trip was great. had a few downs because of the place we stayed at, but when we went on the strip and visited the other casinos/hotels it was awesome. be sure to read reviews on the hotels because where we stayed was ridiculous and not "us" at all, now i want to go back in about five years (got to recover) and stay at the palms because that was a very "us" place, and really look into places to eat so that it easier to find what you like otherwise its junk food or expensive food. AND i highly suggest non-stop flights just because i know it would have made getting back a bit smoother, i now know to only go non-stop .
Resources: palms, viator, front desk, taxis and the deuce for travel, good walking shoes,ultimately though, really look into hotels and find the one that is right for you.
