virtual ones, since I have no real ones. I love Bookcrossing, or at least the concept. THough I must admit, I am more a fan of the “Wild release” even though they rarley get journaled….

me, too

I’m always out of cheers when I want them.

I haven’t been really active in bookcrossing for a while. I used to send out books almost daily! The wild ones are fun. I think I’ve only ever ended up with one caught, but it’s still fun. Now I send them out on paperbackswap.

me too

I used to be an enormous bookcrosser. Hundreds released, mostly in the wild. Then I came to the realization that many of my books were discarded – that the world is awash in cheap paperbacks, and few really read (much less journalled) my books.

Every so once in a rare while, one of my books checks back in. That’s fun. The longest between a release and an entry? About 5 years.
