How to sing karaoke

How I did it: I can barley give a speach to my peers, let alone sing in front of strangers. But after a few cocktails, I went up with a few of my friends. I was probably horrible because we did more laughing than singing but it was fun. Now I need to sing a song alone. Eek!
Lessons & tips: You just have to get over yourself and step up there. No matter how hard that may be. Who knows...you may have fun.
