How to read Breakfast at Tiffany's
How I did it: I actually liked the movie quite a bit and since I knew that Capote didn´t really approve of it I was a little afraid to read the book. However, last week I went into the bookstore and just bought it. It´s THE perfect book to keep in your purse/pocket/whatever, honestly!
It´s inspiring, well written and has the most fascinating way of picturing characters that are unique, indescribable, lovable, revolting and utterly human.
I still like the movie (gonna watch it again soon I reckon) though it is totally different than the book and if I had to pick which one I prefer I´d always pick the book since it has so much more to it than just showing off Audrey Hepburn´s looks and charm (don´t get me wrong, I think she´s unique). Nevertheless I am sure that the book will give you more to think than the movie ever could!
