There were quite a few things I had to undertake or consider to get this operational - aside from making the actual items to sell.
This was my check list:
Register username
Register shop name
Create banner
Add bio info
Add shop announcement
Add avatar
Finalise prices
Make bonsai magnets
Open new bank account
Register a new paypal account
Make bookmarks
Make necklaces
Make earrings
Take photos
Work out postage for items – necklaces, bookmarks, earrings, magnets
List items
Promote
