How I did it: I found him one summer crawling in the dirt at the edge of the woods by a pool I worked at... tried unsuccessfully to find his mother... took him to the vet (all 2 oz of him - he was a day old), took him home, fed, watered, cleaned, loved him.  Now he's about a year and a half old.  And he's my baby.
