How to put up shelves

How I did it: After digging out the flat-pack and building it on the floor, bribe a friend/family member with power tools to do the dirty work and fix them to the wall.
Clean up any mess made.
Fill shelves and bask in the glory of having a less cluttered room.
Lessons & tips: Use masking tape to stick an open envelope to the wall under where you plan to drill, to catch most of the brick dust.
Mark the desired height on the wall in pencil first.
