How I did it: This book takes determination. It is hard to tell anyone how to read it. But it takes a desire to learn, and a desire to be inspired! If you have no desire to learn, or to appreciate the great depth and beauty in this book, I say don't read it. It will be impossible for you to accomplish if you aren't open to it. But for those of you who are willing to allow this book to change you, then just perservere. Victor Hugo is amazing in his plot and stories, but sometimes he can get off on other tangents that do not seem to correlate with the rest of the story. Just be patient with him, and almost all of the confusing parts will be explained later.
